We’ll help you to evaluate the medical or agency documentation you already have in your possession (official job requirenments, light duty offers, workers compensation correspondence, resignation form, etc.) to assess where you are legally and medically standing at that time.
From there, we’ll evaluate which documentation we can use from your Agency and begin to compile, streamline, accumulate or request, in order to put the best case forward for submission to the Office of Personnel Management. In most cases, your physician will need to write a supportive letter on your behalf using a few legal guidelines Attorney McGill will suggest for your specific case.
In other cases, you will need to request further medical evidence to make your case even stronger. Sometimes you will be able to use medical documentation from other sources like Workers Comp or from the Department of Veteran Affairs. We’ll discuss with you about your physical limitations, daily routines, prescription medication you are taking, etc. We’ll evaluate with you any information that will help to provide evidence to the Office of Personnel Management.
